This is also not my muffin, but it could be yours!
The method is easy:
- 1 cup oatmeal/oatbran
- 1 cup wholemeal plain flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon Allspice OR cinnamon OR Ginger
- 2 Eggs
- 1 grated apple
- + Approx 1 cup of filling OPTIONS: Chopped cherries, glazed ginger, chopped nuts, crushed pineapple, dark chocolate chips, coconut
Step 1: Mix all this together and place in either muffin tins or a slice-type cake tray.
Step 2: Cook at 180 degreesC in a fan forced oven. 20 minutes-ish for muffins and 30 minutes-ish for a cake.
Step 3: Eat, OM NOM NOM NOM!
